The Perfect Pokémon Legends: Z-A Super Form Based on Your Astrological Sign

This comeback of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked immense excitement across the community. From the gradual reveal of newcomers before the game's launch, to trainers forming strong opinions on the entire roster of new Megas, there's plenty for fans to look forward to.

With many of the Mega Evolutions showcasing distinctive appearances that emphasize their traits, one thought came to mind: How can link this with astrology? The following is inspired by a mix of vibes, common zodiac traits, and individual observations.

Aries – Super Camerupt

Honestly, Houndoom was almost selected for Aries, as both are the Super Form and zodiac symbol that inspire the most fear. However, a Mega Houndoom appears as always angry, which isn't typical of the Ram's energy, known for being playful, cheerful, and spontaneous. This makes Aries far more similar to Mega Camerupt, which only erupts when provoked. Remain on the friendly side of either and enjoy a strong partner; should you offend them, prepare to get burned.

Taurus – Mega Heracross

Similar to a devoted Bull, the steadfast Heracross, whether in its regular and Mega form, has assisted numerous trainers in Legends: Z-A. Though dependable, both the Pokémon and a Taurus are still Fighting types, and – be it their trainer or a strong opinion – will stand up for their side to the end. What about Mega Heracross that recalls most of my Taurus friends, though, is its unabashed passion for treats. Many previous Pokédex entries mention their craving for sweet tree sap and how it uses its appendage to hoard it all, which is true Bull-sign vibe.

Gemini – Mega Medicham

Look at this total queen. You cannot convince me this Pokémon is not the life of every party, offering an constant stream of gossip to those who wish to hear. Much like an captivating, gregarious Gemini, it's very simple to imagine Super Medicham captivating an entire Wild Zone with their stories. Medicham’s official description also mentions its capacity to predict an enemy’s future actions, which sounds quite like a socially-savvy Twins.

Cancer – Super Manectric

The Crab is commonly regarded as the most emotional sign of the astrological wheel, a passionate sign famous for frequently becoming wrapped up in their emotions. According to the official info, Mega Evolution charges the Pokémon with a “huge quantity of electricity, but it's excessive for this Pokémon to completely manage,” which sounds a lot like a typical Crab emotional outburst. This Pokémon is also recognized for its ability to make a thundercloud over its very self – and if there’s one thing a Cancer is likely to do, it’s spoil their good time.

Leo – Super Starmie

Oh, did you assume I was planning to pick Pyroar for the lion of the stars? Aside from the reality that it would be much too obvious, The Lion is obviously Super Starmie, the star whose gams just became an internet sensation for being extremely fabulous (or terrifying, depending on your preference). Players were captivated from the purple starfish, and that’s exactly the identical vibe a Lion offers to the scene. Starmie is also said to be transmitting radio waves from its red core out into the cosmos, and it’s just like a Leo to be staging a performance, albeit for extraterrestrials.

Virgo – Super Victreebel

The always-ready and constantly-worried Maiden is ideally encapsulated in Super Victreebel, the Super Form with perpetual digestive issues. The zodiac symbol known for being endearingly judgmental is strongly reflected across this Pokémon’s whole evolutionary chain, from a always surprised face like a Maiden when you tell them you lack a 401(k), to its upside-down visage that’s similar to the symbol a Virgo sends to the chatroom when all says they want to “go with the flow” rather than making a plan.

Libra – Mega Audino

Look at this sweet, sensitive creature, who employs the feelers on its ears to detect how others are emotionally by their heartbeat. Consistently compassionate – occasionally to a fault – and trying to maintain the peace, there are many Scales who would likely benefit from Super Audino's abilities. Though, let’s be honest, it would likely just make them stress even more about others.

The Scorpion – Super Banette

This Ghost-type is a creature with a surprisingly tragic origin: Discarded as a toy, it became consciousness through sheer resentment and vowed retribution on its former owner. According to the Pokédex, Super Evolution, “enhances its spitefulness.” That seems precisely like many conversations I’ve had with my intense Scorpion acquaintances. A Scorpion loves cosmic justice and comeuppance, making them the perfect pair with Super Banette.

The Archer – Super Hawlucha

Both Super Hawlucha and Sagittarians are constantly staging a show. As a Sagittarius myself, the amount of times I’ve referred to myself some version of a “silly little jester” is innumerable. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Super Form, its description even mentions how it “flexes to show off its strength.” I would do the very same thing if I had a Mega evolved form, making Super Hawlucha the most apt Sagittarius counterpart I can imagine.

The Goat – Mega Absol

Did you know that a Super Absol has the ability to predict disasters ahead of time? That exudes the identical vibe as a Capricorn, who often always think they’re right. Interestingly, much like a visionary Super Absol, they often are. It’s also the absolute first Mega Evolution that trainers encounter in Legends: Z-A – just like a Goat to join the ground floor of the Super Form craze.

The Water Bearer – Super Chandelure

Detached element Aquarius is arguably the non-fire placement that is closest to a flame symbol – its counterpart is the Lion, and there are countless jokes about Sagittarius and Water Bearer being unpredictable partners in crime. Super Chandelure's dual Ghost/Fire category matches perfectly with this, and the Super Form's general daunting presence is also very Water Bearer. If you weren’t already persuaded, the Mega’s description says it “draws in hatred and converts it into power.” If that doesn’t perfectly {encaps
